Case Building

We have shipped many pieces of furniture and antiques over the years, here is a recent one we have shipped out to Australia. The client had 12 dining chairs and some other articles to ship, although the chairs were not antiques we still took extra care in the packing and the case was custom built and made-to-measure. An important point for Australia is that you can only ship treated timbers, so the timber case is pre-treated and built to AQIS standard (http://www.daffa.gov.au/aqis/import)

We ship boats.

We do get a number of enquiries each year from clients wanting to take their pride and joy with them to their destination - we ship boats, cars, motor bikes, trailers. We are able to offer a variety of services depending on destination this might be ro/ro services, on deck or in container. Where clients are moving from a typical 2 bed house, there is generally space within 1 x 40 foot container to stow personal effects and then a car at the back, this obvioulsy depends on size of the car and amount of effects. Other options include sending car via Ro/Ro and then effects in separate 20ft container or via LCL pal-pack service.

Here are some pictures of one of the options we can offer to load a boat. The client drove the boat to our warehouse on trailer, we then used special containerlift vehicle that put the container on the ground in order to load boat and personal effects. It then re-tenders loaded container to chassis and this then is taken off to Port and on it's way. This method is good for cars also.

More and more leaving the U.K

Here is an article we came across which discusses the ever increasing numbers of people leaving the U.K for a new life overseas. In part in seems to be a lifestyle choice but also with the advent of many channels on the t.v featuring people moving abroad and holiday home purchasing etc people have become aware how easy it has become to make the move.

Here at World World Removals/Freightbrain International Ltd, we help our clients achieve a very cost-effective removal that allows them to take as much of their money with them as they possibly can. You do not need to spend GBP 5,000 when it can be done at almost half the price. You do not need to wait around for weeks on end waiting to share space with another removal. We can offer weekly departures to most areas of the world with the minimum of fuss, whether this be a full container (FCL) dedicated to you, or part load (LCL) with a consolidation via our pal-pack service.
